Dane Cook is coming to Central New York for a standup comedy show.
The comedian and actor will perform at the Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Event Center in Verona, N.Y., on Sunday, April 16, at 7 p.m. It’s his only 2023 tour date in Upstate New York, though he will perform across the Canadian border at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on Saturday, April 15.
Tickets for Cook’s Turning Stone show will go on sale Friday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster or by calling 1-877-833-SHOW; prices start at $59. TS Rewards members can get pre-sale access starting Thursday at 10 a.m.
Cook, 50, is a popular stand-up comedian who has released six albums, along with the 2006 HBO special “Vicious Circle” and the 2009 Comedy Central special “Isolated Incident.” He released a new standup special, “Above It All,” last year on his website danecook.com.
Cook is also known for his film career, appearing in “Good Luck Chuck,” “Employee of the Month,” “My Best Friend’s Girl,” “Mystery Men,” “Waiting…” and “Mr. Brooks.” He also voiced the lead role of Dusty Crophopper in Disney’s “Planes” and its sequel, “Planes: Fire & Rescue.”
